Operation Catnip of Richmond provides free spay/neuter assistance for FERAL and STRAY cats only. Spay/neuter clinics are scheduled one Sunday a month, and appointments are required - those who arrive without an appointment will be turned away and contacted for appointments at future clinics.  Cats must be brought to clinics in traps, and any cats brought in cat carriers will be refused. Vaccinations are provided at the time of surgery. Check the website or call for information on the next available clinic date.

Operation Catnip also lends traps for humane TNR upon the signing of a contract and payment of a $50 deposit.

Kittens must be at least 8 weeks and 2 lbs.
